The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience strength and hope in order to solve their common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery.

The North Florida Area consists of Al-Anon groups from Gadsen County in the northwest to Highlands County on its southern border. The Area is divided into 12 Districts as shown below. For more information about the North Florida Area, click on the links in the menu to the left. If you don’t see a menu, click here.

If you would like information about Al-Anon in the further south portion of the state, you should look at the South Florida Area site. The groups in the Florida Panhandle are part of the Area that serves Alabama. The Alabama & Northwest Florida website is now available at this address. For more information on Al-Anon worldwide, visit the World Service Office website.
